He who brings peace, brings light. He who enters in with a heart to heal, is welcomed by all who truly seek healing. My peace is beyond the peace of man. Man’s peace comes between wars, but the peace of your Lord brings peace within the war. Great does the enemy seek destruction, even now roaming that he may kill and destroy the faith of the redeemed. He who abides in My Spirit will have no fear, his countenance unchanged in storm or sea. My peace is immovable, a strong tower. Faith makes strong its girders, and the wind and the waves shake it not. This is the peace My peacemaker brings, greater than peace from strife or violence, but peace also of steadfast trust in He who never slumbers, and lets no calamity of man or earth usurp His reign. Stand in faith, and bring peace strong in faith, that they too may stand in its guarding power. The peace of your Lord is upon those who trust in His love. Remind them of My deep love, and of their deep faith, and the peace of God will flow as a mighty river, and will flow My light into their darkness.

John 14:27 (ESV) – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Bottom Line: Bringing peace to a situation is one thing, and it is a good thing, but bringing God’s peace to the heart of someone in fear, is quite another. We work with brothers and sisters in the Lord, who are struggling with life right now, and their level of peace is very low. You may not be able to make peace in their situation, but you can remind them of the peace that comes from knowing they have a God who loves them, and is with them in the fire. Sometimes all that is needed is a reminder of what they already know, to bring light to their darkness, and make peace in their soul.
