Hope is assured in faith. Little is expected of the world and its ways, but in faith there is great expectation. You know My voice. I give comfort to the afflicted. In faith they find peace. Walk as one who has reassurance, who fears not, for promises given to those who believe. Faith brings confidence in He who cannot lie. My Word gives life, and it cannot be removed. My hand protects in love, and my grip does not fail. Your struggle will end in victory. In My way you will find peace; My hand guides. From eternity past you are Mine. Fear not the path in which I lead. It is not one of the world, but one of your Father who knows a greater destination. Have faith in Me and the One who has sent Me. My Spirit is with you in each turn.
Phil 4:6-7 (ESV) – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Bottom Line: In the life of every believer, there are unexpected twists and turns. We may not understand the road God is leading us down, but because we are promised His protection, we can have faith in the outcome. Layoffs, missed promotions, failed interviews, even a loss of health, these things can be God’s instruments of necessary change in our lives. Our job is to maintain faith that He is with us every step of the way, even when we don’t understand. He wants us to have His peace along the journey, no matter the circumstance.
