My eyes seek he who does not curl under. The great tide comes, not of water, but of bitter sadness and loss. The world knows not its Creator, and its eyes grow dim to My Spirit, but you know My voice. You bear My light within you. Outward it must shine to the many, that few, but precious, come. The Father’s call is clear in their hearts, and you carry the true light of My redemption. Do not hide it beneath a quivering chin. Man’s judgment [of you] will not stand, and their sneers are but for a moment. Speak in love and courage, that they may know the truth. If the Father’s call is within, they will hear and respond. As the world grows dim to My way, it is the light of My bride that is seen through the dusk. Fear not the rejection, but find the greater reward, as the lost become found, and the dead rise to life. You have the My words of life, given to you, that you may give to them.

Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV) – “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

John 1:4 (ESV) – In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

John 6:68-69 (ESV) – Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

Bottom Line: It’s as if we have a life preserver, they are drowning, and we are afraid to throw it because we may miss (and be embarrassed). This is a tough one for me (personally) to “hear”. Maybe it is tough for you too. I am afraid of rejection, like many, but we have a great responsibility and calling. We have the Light (Jesus), and that Light is life to those in darkness, the only Light that will save them. They die without it. For many, co-workers, friends and family, we are the only one around them with the truth they need to hear. Be brave and let your light shine!
