There is strength in patience. The weak have little. The Spirit of God gives patience as the old man is replaced by the new. You shall be given as you choose to receive. Patience is not of the will, but of He who gives abundantly to those who seek My countenance. I Am long-suffering for those I love. I give great forgiveness that they might know My ways. Do you seek to reflect, or do you seek your own desire? Those who do not know Me, do not see. They act in blindness and unsupported pride. Hate toward such as these is not of your God. Hate evil, but not ignorance. Bring light to the darkness, not the stench of a haughty spirit. Extend grace to those without understanding. In the Father’s call, once you stood the same. Kindness and patience is sweet to the lost as well as the saved. Extend to them gently the good news, and do not lose heart for their slowness, for there has been placed a great fog in their vision. The enemy sprays confusion, that even truth is absorbed slowly. I delay that more may be saved to My Name. Be as I Am – patient.

2Pet 3:9 (ESV) – The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Bottom Line: We forget where we started. How hard-headed and arrogant, or how nonchalant and unaware of the truth we were. Our Father was patient, as we finally, slowly (some of us very slowly) responded to His call. Most of us were not drawn by people arrogant and impatient, but instead were drawn by people who showed God’s love through patience and kindness, some of whom were in our workplace. They liked us. They loved us right where we were. They were patient with us. They were exactly how we need to be, to be used mightily by God. Pray for His patience, and then give as you have been given.
