Understanding of My ways are for those who seek My will. Each day there exists My great will for your life. Much of your life is spent in the goodness of work. Seek there My will for each day. I call to those who listen. In the midst of the toil My blessing awaits. Far from Me you drift, but near you I am. Abide in My presence as you toil. Seek My peace in the rush, My wisdom in your decisions, My integrity in your choices. May your responses to others reflect the Spirit that abides with you. In no circumstance resort to sin. Carry in each action a desire to please Me, that My favor would be on each task. Hold firm to the truth of My Word, resident always in your mind. Pray as you work, and work itself will become your ministry, replete with the desires of My will. All work is holy when placed in My will, and then great does your work become.
Heb 13:20-21 (ESV) – Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Bottom Line: Our lives are to be a missionary journey, with each trip to work a mission’s trip. That might sound a bit overboard, but in the big picture, God’s picture, He has sent us to be His representatives in this world, to carry and live out His message of love to those around us, even at work. Remember to work with integrity and to please the Lord as you go through the tasks of the day today. You represent Him and what Christianity should bring to the everyday world. He has a will and expectation for you today; seek that will as you work, and let His Word work and shine through you. It will please Him!
