Hear Me in your workplace. I am there. Beyond the struggle, the busyness, the pressure of responsibility, I am there. The still, small voice does not leave you, for it dwells in you deeply, so deeply you notice Me not. My Word aches inside those who are deaf to it. Empty is the vessel of hope without My voice rising within. You must find the time to hear Me as I speak.  Much wisdom and peace are lost without this discipline of listening. Would you not hear those you serve in the work given to you? Would you not listen as he spoke his wishes? Yet he who pays is not your true provider. What flows from the hand of the customer must first flow through My own, and if what flows from his hand is not of My hand, it blesses not. The attentiveness you extend to those you serve is not a gift of worship to them, as it is expected and is paid for, but the attentiveness to My voice is a true worship, for it comes not from a heart that deserves, but from a heart that is thankful for what it has already received. Bend your ear daily for the manna of My counsel, and great will be the return, and with thankfulness – greater still.

Psalm 25:4-5 (ESV) – Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior.

Bottom Line:  Take the time to receive His counsel daily. Bring the issues of the day: personal, technical, managerial, relational etc., then take time to listen. There is no greater workplace consultant than the great I Am. Listen carefully, and let His Word work in you.
