To he who has been given hands to work, great is his blessing. To he who has been given a mind to create, also great is his blessing. To those with ability to organize and bring together a greater plan or process, this too is My blessing. In all things given, from Me do they flow, and one day will cease. The greatest minds of earth eventually quiet under My hand. The skill of the craftsman does not outlive his craft, for each is given for a time, and with this time, opportunity to build, create, and give life, as in the image of He who gives life and beauty to all. Your work is a reflection of My counsel within you. My light pours out through you, My creation. You are enabled with the great gift of a great Father who has bestowed you with His own attributes existing before you, and continuing after. For a time you have the glowing of your Creator. Your work today is the illumination of those gifts and opportunities. Use them well. Lift what you can do in thanksgiving, for you give today what will fade tomorrow. Plant well, that what you give today, given first from above, will yield great fruit. What you have been given, give back in your work, and greater it becomes.
Exodus 35:35 (ESV) – He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of workman or skilled designer.
Bottom Line: We are skilled by His grace. We must use our abilities with thanksgiving and excellence. We have been blessed with them only for a short time. Use your hands and mind well, and let His Word work through you today.
