Here you shall find your strength – in perseverance, in endurance. These are the marks of the great who push past what others would not, reaching for more than they can alone. In each life there is struggle, a wind set against for a time of growth, and also decision. Even I, as flesh incarnate, so too my limbs were strained, tested to failure, but then strengthened again, just enough for the journey. There is great work to be done, difficult, but not impossible. These are times set that you would draw upon Me. It was My Father that strengthened my legs to carry, my back to bear the weight. In human strength there is little accomplished in the work of God, for it is beyond the strongest, and its reach is beyond the lone man. Your tasks are within my easy reach, the weight is without effort, the time of trial possible, but you must turn to Me. For it is I who will teach, and in faith you shall defeat what defeats you. Trial is of suffering, but not for suffering. A great climb is not for the effort, but for the vantage, that you would reach for a greater strength, a deeper wisdom, a closer walk, in toil and high winds, become more than whom you are alone.

Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)

Fear not, for I am with you;
    be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Psalm 18:32-34 (ESV)
The God who equipped me with strength
    and made my way blameless.
He made my feet like the feet of a deer
    and set me secure on the heights.
He trains my hands for war,
    so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

Matthew 11:28-30 (ESV) – Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Bottom Line: There is generally no shortage of trials in our life. Most of them we can deal with on our own, but there are some trials that we shouldn’t even attempt alone . . . but we do. Our culture teaches us that we must be strong and independent.  At work we are rewarded for personal achievement and strong leadership. Knowing the answers, and getting things done are the hallmarks of success. In God’s corporate structure, he prefers a partnership over a sole proprietorship. In fact, you may be going through work or personal struggles right now that were specifically allowed by Him, so that you would partner with Him. His strength would combine with your own, and you would find the answers together.  Hopefully, with that beginning partnership, strengthened by years to come, walking and working with HIm, it will allow your greatest works to be accomplished – work you would not be able to ever accomplish on your own.
