He who must be trained, must encounter the hardship of growth. A blessing from My hand is often a weight in the hand of he who is being made stronger. Hardship at work is not unnoticed. Planned carefully are the trials of all My children. As a student is made strong with problems and tests, so too those I love and call to maturity. No lesson is enjoyable when the load is heavy, but My strength is always present for you. You have felt My lift in the past. I do not leave you orphan in your trials. Both strength and faith are nourished through issue. Resistance brings both closeness to Me, and confidence in trials to come. Your work is a place of trial, when you call on My Spirit. You will grow more in the grief of your workplace, than in a church with no trial. May the Word you receive in the pew be brought to life in your week, that My strength would abide in you.
James 1:2-4 (ESV) – Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Bottom Line: If we want to become like Jesus, we must grow. Our greatest growth, if we draw close to Him, will be in the times of trial; and the workplace is full of them. Apply the Word you received on Sunday to the problem on Monday, and your strength in Him will rise, as His Word works in you.
