The struggle of some is not of others. The greater the mind of contemplation, the more difficult the decision. He who thinks deeply is blessed, but also carries great burden, for the arrogance of knowledge can veil the truth. The hunter charges the seen quarry, but does not move until sure. Yet others hunt with great commotion, quickly setting the arrow as fear dislodges the hidden. Both shall eat, and both will have times of hunger, though not so in My Kingdom. For he who believes is as the second, for in the faint call of the bird, in faith he exerts greatly, faithful that the unseen is present, driving the hidden now skyward, ready on the string of his bow. The first expends not, until all is clear to his eyes, and wind is faint. Many slumber, then to starve for the wait. You have seen My hand. You have known My movement, and in this you have grown stronger in faith, but still you waiver. Move forward as you hear My faint call; doubt not all that you remember. I have given these that you would have food for the next step – to charge. In waiting you shall not eat. In the faithful step there is abundance, but faith must precede. Do not waver in your belief, for you have walked with Me that you would not.

Matthew 28:16-20 (ESV) – Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

Bottom Line:  Sometimes we are just too intellectual to have the faith that God is calling us to have. In the scripture above, after all the incredible things the apostles had witnessed with Jesus . . . His phenomenal teachings, His miracles, even His resurrection right before He ascended, most of the apostles worshiped, but some of them still doubted. The same Greek word was used when Peter doubted, after he was walking on the water. Are we like that? Have we witnessed His undeniable hand in our lives, yet we hesitate on the next call forward? For some, it may be taking on that new responsibility, position or career. Maybe it’s a move that makes you nervous, requires a blind faith, or a task you feel you just can’t handle. Is He calling you to something right now? If so, don’t doubt, dont wait, just charge!
