You are made strong in prayer. As you seek, so you will find. My Spirit feeds the soul of the starving. Weak in struggle is My church for lack of My counsel. Bow your head for strength to come. Forsake not the listening to My Spirit. Your strength is insufficient, and so much more as the time draws near. Those who do not drink shall thirst, and those who thirst cannot quench the thirst of others. Those who have no food, cannot share with he who begs. He who is dry and empty absorbs, but he who knows the grace of My presence will refresh others. You have holy access, unhindered to the presence of the power of the Father. No decree of man can divide those who believe from the presence of their God, but many are in the habit of slumber and sloth, with no desire. They seek power in My Name, but do not seek My Presence. How then shall they run? How then shall they lift the great load? I have torn the veil at great cost, that you might approach. The great privilege is now your own. You do not have, for you do not know fully the power of Whom you have been called. Many generations gave great sacrifice that they may bow before the Holy God of Israel. Now for you My sacrifice is complete, yet you wander to other voices that know not of My way. You lack power for lack of prayer. The entire generation groans for empty stomach. Come that you might eat, and find strength once more.

1 Chronicles 16:11 (ESV) – Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!

Jeremiah 29:12 (ESV) – Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

Psalm 141:2 (ESV) – Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice!

Colossians 4:2 (ESV) – Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.

Matthew 27:50-51 (ESV) – And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.

Bottom Line:  A wonderful thing happened at the moment of Jesus death . . . the veil was torn. What does this mean? It means that as followers of Christ we now have direct access to God the Father. In the days of biblical Israel, this access was only given to very special high priests, and even they could not enter without sacrificing animals to cover their sins. That system is no more because Jesus the Christ sacrificed himself, so that now we all have access to God’s mighty throne. The question is, how often do we enter that great throne room? How often do we bow at His feet seeking His words, blessing and direction? For most of us, it is far, far too seldom. These days we are living in are difficult, and the Bible indicates they will be getting even more difficult. We, as His holy people, need to find our spiritual nourishment again. Our life is more than our career and maintaining our comforts. We may look well-fed from the outside, but our soul hungers for more. Take the time daily to pray, eat of God’s Word, and be strengthened!
