Just as the swarm gathers at the hive, My enemies gather. Silently they plot against the anointed, for they know the Source of true power, the One who rivals their own. Many have been deceived; many know not the banner they carry, even those who carry it highly in self-sacrifice, for a call not of holiness. There are those who know their sin, but many who voice loudly great ignorance, understand not their wrong from righteousness. It is to these that you must speak gently, but in confidence, that their hearts would hear the truth. Many, young in years, staunch in their great desire to do good, have been led down a dark path. Have mercy as I have shown mercy. Show grace as I have shown grace. Through this and the word of your testimony, some will hear My call. In war the young are sacrificed for the old. The vigor of young legs has always been first to charge the line, even for poor cause of they who chart their course. Know your enemy, but also know those who not yet have heard the truth. Do not battle as they battle. They who command are in reach only of prayer, but not of anger and harsh words. To the swarm of those who carry on the work, firm but gentle wisdom you are to sow, for in such, the lost are found. Many still shall spurn, but some will come.

Proverbs 7:6-7 (CSB) – At the window of my house I looked through my lattice.
I saw among the inexperienced, I noticed among the youths, a young man lacking sense.

Luke 23:34 (CSB) – Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, because they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided his clothes and cast lots.

Proverbs 15:1-2 (CSB) – A gentle answer turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up wrath. The tongue of the wise makes knowledge attractive, but the mouth of fools blurts out foolishness.

Bottom Line:  Abraham Lincoln once said, “A drop of honey catches more flies than a gallon of gall.” Lincoln understood that most people will listen and believe if what is being offered is done in gentle confidence, but most people will stand firm against any idea that they feel is being jammed down their throat. Even if the latter is full of truth, they will not accept it just because of the harshness in which it is presented. We have to remember, that especially among the youth (or any) of our generation, that many have a deep desire to “make a difference” for good.  The issue is that many have been led to believe the “good” they represent and are fighting for, is not what our Lord defines as good. They don’t know God’s truth to realize this, so they fight earnestly for the wrong causes, ridicule the true Biblical good, and end up destroying the very values that would bless them. They are not evil; they are misguided. Maybe you work with many of them each day. Change the way you look at them. Change the way you approach them. Maybe one day, the gentle seeds you plant  through God’s grace and your own, may end up changing them, for good.
