The Father who loves, feels no burden for those born of him. The mother lifts the load with joy, for the child is her own. Love carries much. Great is its aid and also its forgiveness. In its light there are no record of wrongs. Love reaches and never tires of doing for those who fall within its grasp. Obedience without complaint, honor given with no burden. My law [is] given in love that growth and protection be yours. The return of that love to its sender, is joyful obedience of what was sent to protect and nourish. Do not grumble in the call I have given you. Obey within that call My precepts, and joy will be in your calling, and the joy of the Father for the obedient child will be a glow of great favor on that life of joyful following.

1 John 5:3 (ESV) – For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

Bottom Line: Love can handle a lot. It carries weight in the world that would not be carried without its presence. When we tap into the power of God’s love for other people, which is a scriptural command for us to “love our neighbor as ourselves”, we bring joy to the Father. We show our love for Him by obeying the call to love our neighbors. In the workplace, our neighbors are our co-workers. His command to love them (do good for them), is not only for their benefit, but ours as well. He desires that we enjoy doing this, not making it a chore, but a pleasure. When we do, we give Him pleasure, and are loving Him.
